Recognizing is the first step to understanding and accepting. As Aba Autism, we aim to raise awareness and strengthen empathy in society through the events we will hold within the scope of April 2nd World Autism Awareness Day. Because every individual deserves to be understood and accepted.
Autism is not a disease, but a neurodevelopmental difference in which individuals perceive the world differently. Understanding this difference is the most important way to touch their lives and make their lives easier. A small sensitivity that we show as a society can make a big difference for individuals with autism and their families.
On this special day, we invite everyone to stop and think for a minute. Taking a minute to empathize can be a powerful start to questioning prejudices and gaining awareness.
Take a minute.
Notice.
Understand.
Support.
In this meaningful event organized by Aba Autism, we are coming together to learn together, feel together, and make a difference together. Because change begins with individual awareness and grows together.
Be a part of this movement, raise awareness among those around you, and contribute to the spread of awareness. Remember, empathy only takes a minute, but its effect lasts a lifetime.
